Terms and Conditions – Barefoot Betters
1. Ordering and Payment
- Barefoot Betters is an e-commerce only business. Orders can be placed securely through our online catalog.
- All prices are in U.S. Dollars. Full payment is required before delivery.
- Payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Personal Checks, or Money Orders (payable to BAREFOOT BETTERS).
- Personal checks must clear before order shipment. Please allow extra processing time.
- For non-U.S. orders, please get in touch with us directly. Additional fees may apply.
2. Order Fulfillment and Shipping
- Orders are processed in the order received. Most retail orders ship within 1-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).
- Shipping options: United States Postal Service (USPS) or UPS.
- Depending on location, delivery times typically range from 1-8 business days.
- Rush orders may be available for an additional $25 fee. Please get in touch with us in advance to inquire about availability.
- No exchanges allowed.
- We do not currently offer backorders for out-of-stock items.
3. Returns and Exchanges
- Unopened and unused products in saleable condition may be returned or exchanged within 21 days of delivery, subject to prior approval.
- All returns require a return authorization number (RAN). Please contact us to obtain an RAN before returning any items.
- Original shipping charges will be refunded, but return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- Opened essential oil products are not eligible for return or replacement due to their sensitivity to temperature variations.
4. Product Information
- Our products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients. Minor variations in appearance, texture, or scent between batches are normal and should be expected.
- We recommend shipping temperature-sensitive products during cooler seasons or selecting overnight shipping to minimize the risk of melting.
5. Privacy Policy
Barefoot Betters is committed to protecting your privacy. We will never share, sell, or divulge your personal information to any third party except as required by law.
6. Gift Orders
We offer complimentary gift messaging and direct shipping to gift recipients. Please include your message in the comments section during checkout or email us your request.
7. Damaged or Defective Goods
- Inspect your package promptly upon delivery.
- Report any damage within 48 hours of delivery.
- Retain all packaging materials and damaged products for potential inspection.
- We will arrange to replace damaged products once the damage is reported and verified.
