Rachel Gubler — Director of Natural Product Development
Rachel leads product development and is our Lead Herbal Formulator. She brings her expertise as a health and wellness coach (Gubler Wellness), therapeutic nutritional counselor (Holistic Health Educators), and holistic iridologist (International Institute of Iridology) to everything we make. She carefully selects and combines herbs and essential oils to create soaps and salves that nourish the skin and support overall wellness — bridging traditional herbal knowledge with modern holistic practice. When she’s not formulating, Rachel enjoys life in Las Vegas with her husband and two children, and the outdoors that inspire her natural, active approach to health.
Ernie St. Gelais — Webmaster
Ernie is the webmaster behind barefootbetters.com. Born in 1956 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, he discovered his love of computers in the United States Air Force, then built and led two successful internet companies as CTO before founding Sitez Incorporated, a consulting firm that helps entrepreneurs grow online. He oversees the site’s development and content, pairing technical depth with a genuine interest in barefoot living. Ernie lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife of thirty-six years, and delights in passing his knowledge and values on to the next generation.
Jeffery J. Jensen — Purchasing Manager
A dedicated father of four and grandfather of ten, Jeff balances family life with a career as a civil engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada. His faith as a follower of Jesus Christ (a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) guides his daily decisions. He cherishes time with his children across Nevada, Idaho, Utah, and North Carolina, and starts his mornings at Burn Boot Camp — where, at the top of the age bracket, burpees remain his nemesis and a reminder that there’s always room to improve when you start at the bottom.
